Fair and Reasonable Fees?
The best I can do here to give you an idea are some ranges and examples.

News profiles on individuals, groups and companies $250 to $1500 -- Depending on: length, deadline, number of people to interview, phone or e-mail interviews, not-for-profit, for-profit. |
A Harvard Business Review quality article? This can range quite a bit but I did one not too long ago for a CEO. The time involved was three weeks and involved a visit and a number of follow-up calls and e-mails. The contract was $8,000 plus travel expenses. |
|
An Innovation Lab or a Search Conference? Typically these can take up to a month of planning with a visit or two in advance of a 2 1/2 to 3-day event. Depending on the complexity and number of people involved, the range is $8,500 to $15,000. If an additional colleague is needed to assist during the event, it may well add another $2,000 to $5,000 (travel not included) |
A Marketing Assessment and Assignment resulting in a plan and/or brochures, etc. would resemble the cost of an Innovation Lab. |
|
Innovation counseling: The range is all over the place because there are just too many variables but here are a few hints. In person and on or off site: $750 to $2,500 a day. Via the phone and/or e-mail $50 to $150 an hour.

Individual change, reinvention, transformation? This is a whole different ball game which requires a big commitment of time from me, or one of my associates and you. (see the information on this page.) |
