Paycor easily satisfies three of the basic requirements for a great place to work:
Stacy Browning, VP for Operations, IT and Marketing says, she is still excited about coming to work each day after 12 years because, “your (my) opinion matters "you’re valued." The steady growth curve of the business keeps her interested and actively learning as she works to help people in three types of functions integrate their understanding of each other, and the customer's needs.
Browning describes how the company manages itself to success, she says: "We manage by aiming for achievement while keeping that in balance with taking care of our clients and embracing our Associates - all through the decision making lens of doing the right thing."
CEO Robert (Bob) Coughlin, says Paycor is a good place to work because it reflects a very basic value: caring about people. "You care about your clients, about each other – our associates, our shareholders and the community," he says, "if you do all that, we are successful for everyone."
The proof of how caring pays off? Coughlin notes: "We have a number of people who have left and returned." They have moved to another state with a spouse, Coughlin and Browning explain, and then when they move back to Cincinnati, they seek to come back to work with us because it is a good place to work and they know that we will have grown and will welcome them back.
