Candace Ireton, M.D. is a primary care physician for Butler County Community Health Consortium and a leader in delivering primary healthcare to the area's growing Hispanic community. Now --take a deep breath -- here's the rest of Ireton's story.

Has a BS in Physical Education from the University of California-Davis,

Enjoyed medical mission work in Haiti, and thrilled by visits to Mexico, Australia, Croatia, Rome, and Norway.

In addition she currently serves on the Hispanic Advisory Committee at Cincinnati Children's Hospital, and

Is volunteer instructor in the UC Department of Family Medicine.

Listening to Dr. Ireton is like watching the finish of a record-breaking marathon. Strength, determination, exhilaration, and training are easily visible but not "What makes Dr. Ireton run at the front?" The answer's obvious though as she talks about people who helped herat UC-Davis, her work and travel. She has a passion for learning and giving service--"paying back--honoring those who gave to me." Leading wasn't the goal, but it's where you find Dr. Ireton and others with a passion for learning and service.
