Dan Gorman is owner of the United Property Group, Ltd in Fort Thomas, Kentucky, where he resides with wife and three children and serves as a planning commission member. His passion for giving back to the community led him to create the Hope Resource Center which funds community improvements in areas where his firm owns multi-family housing. Gorman says, "We recently received a grant to help us build a neighborhood grocery store that offers affordable food and basic necessities, and we're trying to raise about. $2 million to build a community center in Hamilton." "It just makes sense for us to protect the value of our asset by improving the community surrounding it," Gorman explains. "His wife," he says is a major source of inspiration about "giving back" to your community. Asked what he looks forward to, Gorman said: "In a country as great as ours, that provides aid to so many people around the world, I look forward to the day when our politicians finally say that homelessness, hunger, and lack of medical coverage for our citizens is no longer acceptable."
